Like Japan's Mount Fujiyama, the 14,162 foot volcano, Mount Shasta, California is considered by many to be one of the Earth's seven sacred mountains.
Snowcapped Mount Shasta is located in the upper regions of northern California in the Shasta Trinity National Forest. It is a massive dominant stratum white giant standing 14,162 foot volcano situated in the largest zone of volcanoes in the world called the Pacific Ring of Fire. Mount Shasta is in a section of this ring called the Cascade Range, which begins where the Sierra Nevadas end and extends about 700 miles from northern California through Oregon and Washington into southern British Columbia. These volcanoes range in elevations from 9,500 feet to a towering height of more than 14,000 feet. Mount Shasta is the second tallest volcano in this range.
Mount Shasta is the most widely known sacred site of California. Towering above the Cascade foothills, Shasta is surrounded by five glaciers that hold it in place. This sacred mountain emits such a strong energy pattern, that satellite photos show an atmospheric hole over its peak similar to Sedona, Arizona.
Because of the strong geophysical forces within the mountain, there are steam vents, hot and cold springs, purification sites, electrical centers and caverns that have been used as power spots by the indigenous natives for hundreds of years. Many types of phenomena occur on and near Mount Shasta, as this mountain exhibits strong frequencies that create light shows.
All around the Mount Shasta area are extinct and dormant volcanoes, cinder cones, volumes of artesian springs, sacred caves and mystical caverns. The mountain carries a dominant characteristic of its versatile power, a power that seems to get stronger every day.
Over the last 70 years, numerous travelers have reported encounters with Higher Dimensional beings who live beneath and around the holy mountain.
UFO sightings are so commonplace there that there are books published with numerous photographs of craft so large they even dwarf the mountain itself. People on vision quests, ceremonies and camping expeditions have all seen, heard and felt the powerful vortex that is Mount Shasta.
Mount Shasta is also a site where people gather to perform sweat lodge and purification ceremonies. The intense purification of steam and heat within the sweat lodge mimics what is going on inside the mountain. The darkness of the lodge is almost maternal and stirs the goddess energy of one's spirit. The ceremony directs itself to the physical and spiritual cleansing of an individual as does the sacred mountain.
Many experiences have been documented from people all over the world seeing UFO craft come in and out of this mountain; mysterious openings inside the mountain where advanced inhabitants live; vortex energies & portals; mysterious lights that seem to come from inside the mountain; mountain energy fields that glow and much more.
It is believed that civilizations of highly evolved beings reside within the mountain. Some are believed to be in another dimension that are not currently visible. Yet at times many people from all over the world have experienced a diverse range of phenomena that continues to expand the mysteries of this spiritual sacred grounds.
Mount Shasta is legendary as one of the homes of the Ascended Masters where saints & angelic beings have revealed themselves over the centuries. Ancient legends of Mount Shasta reveal this holy site as where ancient ones lived in heaven on earth as they did in Asgard and Mount Olympus. Ascended Master Saint Germain's energy continuously radiates from the Temple of the Violet Flame deep in the inner recesses of the mountain. Many people all over the world see these mysterious lights and glowing energy emissions from this sacred mountain.
Many believe other Masters influence the energy of this area and are making this their headquarters during the Age of Aquarius that brings peace, love, abundance and wisdom. It is believed that Mount Shasta embodies the head of a huge geographical etheric energy grid.
This sacred mountain has given many people centuries of access to its energy centers. The pristine meadows, graceful slopes and isolated beauty of the mountain continue to provide a haven for those who seek sanctuary from the world that lies at its feet.

Martin Luther King
Thank you for asking us about MLK. I hold him so deep in my heart. He is best known for organizing for Civil Rights for the descendents of the enslaved African people of America - yet his vision encompassed all humanity. He knew that social injustice for one of us degraded all of us and he believed we as human beings have the capacity to Love one another and that we are capable of creating societal structures that honor and promote our highest Dignity.
He was an American Holy Man and I love him deeply.
Today my son and I participated in a day of service. We also read children's books about Dr. King. I hope to instill this as a tradition in our family.

I heard President Obama is going to use one of Martin Luther King's bibles at the reinauguration ceremony when he is sworn in again.....I think that's pretty cool!
To me, it seems that Martin Luther King picked up where Lincoln left off, politically speaking.
Also, the original Martin Luther was the one who was a revolutionary with the church, founding the Protestant movement, and the Lutheran church in particular, splitting away from the Catholics.
As far as a holiday, it is becoming more and more acknowledged each year, which is a good thing. This has been the only holiday in my lifetime that has been created by the people's request, so there is a special status there as well.
Also, in Seattle, there is a major street that has been renamed Martin Luther King Way. King County in Washington has adopted Martin Luther King's image as logo for King County government, even though it was King County years before Martin Luther King was even born.
The message is one of freedom and equality, and I'm all about that. We've got a long way to go, in general, I wonder who will take on caste and economic breeches and everything that goes with that?

I've been wondering about seeing the movie you mentioned above. I seem to have become more sensitized to negative situations in movies. I'm trying to stay away from them. This one looked good to me, though.....
Living with 3 men puts me in the room with things being blown up and shot far too often. I know this movie isn't like that, but I seem to have gone to the extreme and don't want to see anything that upsets people.
I do "require" my guys to see the occasional "chick flick" and they do honor that.
Steve and I also love the Woody Allen movies. Have you seen the more recent Midnight in Paris? I believe it's a Woody Allen film, but Owen Wilson plays the part that Woody Allen normally would have played. He even dresses and walks like Woody Allen always did in his movies. I've watched it several times now, and really enjoy it every time.
Highly recommend it.

Yes we have seen Midnight in Paris a couple of times, and i know exactly what you were saying with Owen Wilson's lines.
That's what I was expecting from this movie, but early on, there's Woody with his flight phobias as the jet is landing in Rome.
Most of the actors were delivering Woody lines, but....he saved the best for himself! Plus some really off the wall scenes like the old days. I think he was trying to be Fellini too.
The count at our house is 2 girls and 1 boy, Bob the Cat does not count for movie choices. Its mostly chick flicks, but I get the TV for Football.

Its by Woody Allen, and he is in it. It is hilarious just like his movies were in the '70s. My wife and I were rolling on the living room floor laughing, and our daughter was watching us with a very concerned look on her face!

Thank you for sharing this website, Robin. My intent around
5:00 today was to take a nap as the energies that happened today were so intense and checked Soul Spa first and have spent 3 hours til now reading the information and remembering my own connection with Sasquatch. I miss the one that went to Kauai with me for the mermaids and the info. triggered other experiences and at the end of the entire reading simply cried. Will take a 20 minute rest before the meditation this evening. Whew. What a day. Wish I could have a couple days to myself in the forest; however, my neighbor is coming over tomorrow to remove the regulator which stopped working so no heat in the RV or to run the refrigerator so need to have it done and going day after that to another town with a friend to get tires for the car (needed before it rains again) and get the regulator replaced. Practical events that need taken care of. I ask Spirit for help and support to be balanced and grounded at all times in this journey. I am truly such a lucky person and am so grateful for so much. Thank you everyone for everything. Was just guided so say I am love made manifest. Aren't we all, truly?!

I finally sourced the energy as coming from Mt. Shasta herself. She was feeling the volcano earthquake activity in Italy. She was showing me the unsteadiness of the earth again. Once I saw this, I prayed for her, the earth, all of us.

I got to go up to Bunny Flats, the highest point you can drive to right now on Mt. Shasta, for the second day in a row! Ashalyn of Mount Shasta Vortex Adventures, and I, went up there. The snow is so pure, the air is so pure, the sun was so bright on the snow......We experienced bliss for sure.

Today was the first day in 2013 that Bob and I drove up Mt. Shasta. The road was very icy but it was plowed up to Bunny Flats. We got out and hiked a bit. It was 15 degrees! When we were utterly frozen we turned around and went back to the car. With the heat going we watched the alpine glow come and go over the mountain.
As Bob and I drove back down the mountain he commented that the car thermometer said it was still 15 degrees. He reminded me of the day we got stuck in traffic on the way home from Santa Barbara from doing a live radio show there. That day our car thermometer said 115 degrees!
The snow was so pristine still. Glorious time to be on Mt. Shasta!

My first advice from a 90 year old in 2013
Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio .
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written.
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short – enjoy it.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
