Be Your Own Healer

If you have a healing experience with a practitioner that you think isn’t working there are several things you can do. You can follow up with the practitioner you went to. Tell them what you are experiencing. Sometimes there is a little energy tweak that can make all the difference to help you finish adapting to the new energies you invited into your field. Sometimes the healing will simply take longer. The deeper the healing you invite in sometimes the healing result takes longer. Be patient but be informed by communicating with your healing practitioner.

Energy moves into your body from Divine Source. Use your own intention and hands to touch the place that needs attention. Use your own intuition to help you locate and identify the areas of need within you. It is often emotional healing that must take place to heal a physical discomfort. Also, remember this. A wounded spirit prefers to dwell in a failing body. Be sure that you are not hosting a wounded spirit by repeating this affirmation 3 times;

“With the Authority Vested within me by Mother/Father God I command any spirits that are not my own to return to their own Higher Selves now.”

Once your energy is clear of any spirit hitchhikers you may begin to feel better instantly. If not, continue to use your own intuition to locate places of weakness in your body. Then ask those weak and pained areas of your body what messages they have for you. You may be surprised at the answers! It could be that your soul/spirit has been wounded and needs attention. Listen to those parts of you. Heal those emotional wounds. Your own self-healing process will be empowered when you come from your heart and give compassion to your own emotional issues.

Invite the Divine Source of Healing to enter you. Allow your body to flow into its natural tendency of wellness.
Accept the call to heal yourself first before you offer healings to others.

Remember, Healer, Heal Thyself First.

Have you ever had a Couple’s Massage?

I have always wanted to have a couple’s massage experience with Bob. In December 2012 Bob and I joined Ashalyn of Shasta Vortex Adventures http://www.shastavortex.com/ for a Holiday Event in downtown Mount Shasta.

The store was having a silent auction to benefit the new park being built in town. Lo and behold the Sacred Mountain Spa was offering a couple’s massage as a donation in the silent auction! Bob bid on it for me! Can you imagine my excitement when we got it????!!!!

When we first walked into the Sacred Mountain Spa we were greeted by the owner. We were introduced to our masseuses. We then were escorted to seats that looked like thrones. Our shoes and socks were lovingly removed. Our feet were placed in a foot bath. As we began to relax we were brought warm cups of tea, and after a few minutes the foot massage began. As soon as my masseuse held my left foot I felt him tuning into me. I asked him, “I can see you are reading me? What are you getting?” He was startled. He doesn’t come across many people who have the gifts I possess. “You can see that I am reading you? I am sorry.” I said, “Are you kidding, of course you can read me? What are you seeing?”

Again he was reticent. Finally after much prodding he opened up and told me what he was receiving. As he spoke Bob grinned from ear to ear as this guy was nailing me with accuracy issues that I have been dealing. As he massaged each foot and lower legs, I about fell into my foot bath water I was so relaxed.

After a ½ hour of that bliss our feet were lovingly patted dry and then we were escorted into our massage room. Bob and I got onto our perspective massage tables. The masseuse knocked lightly on the door. Were ready for them? OH YES!

They came in. My masseuse stood at my feet. Then he began to pray. Let me tell you I have NEVER heard anyone pray so well before. He knew every Ascended Master’s name and more. He called them all in. Then he began to describe what he saw them healing on me. He moved about my body massaging, praying, invoking healing and describing in great detail what he saw within me. It was the most awesome massage ever! When he got to my abdomen he placed his hands over my tummy area. He began to chant like a Native American. I could feel the energy performing psychic surgery on me releasing energetic gunk that had been there for decades. Now ladies and gentlemen, that was one heck of a great massage experience! Bob was just as happy with his masseuse and he was so happy for me! I really enjoyed relaxing with my Valentine that way! My Divine Magician masseuse is Matthew Bueno. OUR ANIMAL FRIENDS-A SPECIAL VALENTINE by Martha Norwalk

As I sit here writing this article, I am embarking on my new life back in the country near my farm, that I love so dearly. Most of you who read this article do not know me personally so you probably aren’t aware of my very recent move. Because the story I am about to share with you happened during that process, I want to give you some details.

I used to live on a farm in a beautiful rural community. I loved that location, especially the land with all of its inhabitants, plant and animals. I thought I might well spend the rest of my life there. That didn’t happen. After thirteen years there, my mom died and everything changed.

I sold my farm in order to move back to the big city to live with and care for my elderly father with dementia. At the time, I had no problem making that decision and leaving the farm as I knew and felt it was the right thing to do.

Even though my dad’s heart was broken without my mom, he went through the motions for about another 5 years. After he passed, I needed time to heal which made it okay to wait out the tax period before selling my parent’s house.

The time to sell and move had come. I started the process when I began to feel a “pull” back to my old neighborhood. It did not take long for me to know that I wanted to be back in the country that I had fallen in love with so many years ago. By the end of the summer, I had found my own “little piece of Heaven on Earth.” I did not know until after I made the move, that my new home was almost directly behind my old farm, just one road away! My city house sold and I moved back to the country.

Since this will be printed in the February, I wanted to write a special love story. This story may seem trivial to some but for me, it is the best kind of Valentine, a heartfelt thank you, full of love.

After my offer on my new home was accepted, my real estate agent Marie and I drove out for the official inspection. While the inspector was doing his thing, Marie and I were wandering around the property with the owner, Ben. He was teaching me all he could about the place.

In the backyard, beneath the forest of huge grandfather firs and cedars, there is a terraced area with a fountain. We had just walked back there to learn about caring for the fountain. Ben was talking about how to clean it. Marie was listening intently and I was gazing into the water.

Before I continue, just so you know, I walk my talk, at least I do my very best to do so. Respecting all life is important to me and talking to anything living comes so naturally to me, that I just do it, out loud, and it does not matter to me where I am or who is listening. My closest and dearest friends know this about me and Marie is one of those friends. Ben, on the other hand, had no clue.

While he was talking, the only thing that was on my radar was the little white moth that was drowning in the water. It was one of those inconspicuous tiny ones with a wingspan of less than an inch. It must have been attracted to the light or water in the fountain and fell in.

Immediately, I bent down and gently scooped the little one out of the water with my hands. With the moth on my palm, I held my other hand over it and as I was channeling to it some healing, light and Reiki energy, I spoke to the tiny creature. I said, “I am so sorry you fell in. I will do my best to help you.” I took a few steps to the nearest tree and placed the little one on a leaf in the sunshine to dry out. I put up a light pyramid around it. “I love you and God bless.” Back to the fountain lecture I went.

When people do not understand or get what one is doing, they often tend to just ignore it. That is what Ben did. I think Marie rolled her eyes, probably thinking “I hope this guy doesn’t think she’s nuts and cancel the sale.”

Sometime later the three of us were standing inside the large garage. Ben was explaining the generator and the door was open. Then out of nowhere, a beautiful, tiny, white moth flew into the garage. It flew around the three of us several times, then into the circle we had formed, making itself obvious to all of us. Then it headed straight for me, circled me and landed on my vest, directly over my heart. The love I felt from that tiny little creature was overwhelming. I teared up. All it said to me was, “thank you for helping us.”

Marie’s eyes were huge as she asked, “Oh My God, does this have anything to do with what you did at the fountain?” I smiled and nodded “yes.” Ben just stood there, silently, staring at the moth on my chest.

Courtship in a Modern World – Queendom.com’s New Study Reveals That Chivalry Is Alive and Well

Queendom.com’s latest study reveals that while most courtship conventions have changed, some age-old romance rituals are still going strong.

Montreal, Canada – February 8, 2013. Queendom.com, a pioneer in online personality, IQ, and career tests, has released its newest study on gender roles in courtship behavior. Pulling up on a white horse this Valentine’s Day isn’t necessary, but at least some chivalry is a heart-melting must.

Some men hurtled, on horseback, with a giant stick in their hands. Emperor Shah Jahan built The Taj Mahal as a final resting place for his most beloved wife. Both Cleopatra and Juliet refused to live in a world where they couldn’t be with the one they loved. Thankfully, courtship conventions and romantic gestures need not be this extreme. According to Queendom’s data, most men and women take a modern approach to dating, but a little chivalry can still go a long way.

Collecting data from 950 men and 1621 women, Queendom’s research on gender roles and courtship reveals that:
•77% of men and 70% of women feel that a date can be initiated by either gender. In fact, 65% of the women have either asked a man out on a date, or would be willing to do so.
•67% of men and 60% of women believe that chivalry is important (e.g. opening doors, pulling out chair, etc.).
•60% of women still like to be wined and dined, at least in the initial stages of dating.
•26% of men want to be the one who controls how the relationship plays out (i.e. how many dates they should have, how fast the relationship moves, when to meet each other’s family). 39% of men would prefer to let the woman control the direction of the relationship, 35% prefer it to be a mutual decision. For women, 27% want to be in full control, 31% prefer to let men decide; 43% prefer it to be mutual.
•When it comes to popping the question, 66% of men and 65% of women think it’s fine for the woman to do the asking.
In terms of who pays for the first date (a long-standing debate), 47% of men feel that the man should pay; 24% feel that the bill should be split; 29% stated that whoever initiated the date should pay. On the women’s side, 31% feel the man should pay, another 31% feel that the bill should be split, and 38% indicated that whoever initiated the date should pay. And that old “play-hard-to-get” theory? Still just a theory. Only 19% of men and 28% of women believe that a woman should be mysterious and play hard to get for the first few dates.

“Women no longer need to play the more submissive, demure role – and it’s nice to see that both genders support this progress,” states Dr. Ilona Jerabek, president of PsychTests. “This doesn’t mean that men are off the hook and don’t need to put an effort into romance anymore. The modern woman still likes romance, but it’s now a shared endeavor, with both genders putting an effort into the relationship. What fascinated us most about this study was that younger men and women had somewhat more traditional courtship views than older age groups.”

Queendom’s age comparisons reveal several interesting differences:
•28% of men under 30 and 22% of men over 30 feel that the man should plan most of the dates.
•60% of men under 30 and 76% of men over 30 feel that a woman should be able to propose to a man.
•20% of men under 30 and 13% of men over 30 said that they would feel threatened by a woman who took control of what they did on the first date.
•26% of men under 30 and 14% of men over 30 believe that it should be the man who asks the woman out, not vice versa.
•51% of men under 30 and 39% of men over 30 believe stated that the man should pay for the first date.
•66% of women under 30 and 71% of women over 30 have either asked a man out or would consider doing it.
•64% of women under 30 and 72% of women over 30 think it’s ok to be the one to ask a man to marry them.
Here are some Valentine’s tips with a twist from Queendom:
•Forget the dozen roses. Buy one, wrapped with a ribbon.
•Show up at your partner's workplace and whisk him or her away for lunch.
•Place a love note in your partner’s lunch bag or on the bathroom mirror.
•Grab a blanket, a bottle of wine, and drive out to a place where you can see the stars.
•Slow dance in your living room.
•Avoid embarrassing lingerie no-nos. Take him to a lingerie store and show him all the naughty things you like.
•Meet at a local hang-out and pretend you’re two strangers flirting with each other.
•Build a little bonfire in your backyard and make chocolate Smores.
•Get tango or salsa lessons together.
