Robin's eggs, Anne Feeney, Speedi Mart, the Green Party of Clallam County, haunted hotels and the Peninsula Daily News

Yesterday Bob and I were out running errands. We always buy our fresh local eggs from the Speedi Mart at 320 Old Olympic Highway in Port Angeles. I asked Bob to run in the store so I could sit in the car and listen to music. As I sat there the local owner waved at me through the window. When I go in to buy the eggs we joke that this is the store where Bella shops for her locally grown products. With that joke causing my face to break out in a grin I waved back as she and a man taped a flyer on the store front window. I read the poster,
"Anne Feeney

Hmmmm, I thought as I read it...Bob and I have been wanting to visit the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship church.
As the man came out of the store I rolled my window down,
"Hey, can I have one of those flyers? I will post the information on my web site."
"Sure" he says friendly as a neighbor can be. He handed me the flyer and his card.
"Hi I am Nelson Cone. I am the facilitator of the Green Party of Clallam County and a veteran."
I respond,
"Hi I am Robin Alexis. I am the possible host for a television show called "Beyond the Battlefield". The show works with veterans who have lost a loved one and/or who have post traumatic stress disorder from serving our country. The pilot show was created with a woman who was a Captain in the Army and who was raped during the Vietnam War. She suffered from post traumatic stress disorder and felt that she was helped on the show. If the show gets picked up as a series we will need more veterans to volunteer to participate."
Nelson was very helpful in giving me another web site where I might find people for our "Beyond the Battlefield with Spirit Medium Robin Alexis".
As Nelson and I chatted Bob came out of the store with Robin's favorite farm fresh eggs.
Today is Super Bowl Sunday. We ate the eggs for breakfast. Before the Super Bowl game gets going and our neighbor Earnest arrives to watch it with us, Bob is headed to the store to buy the local Peninsula Daily News. There is an article about me in the Sunday news. If you want to read it here it is

Isn't life interesting? You never know what neighbor you are going to bump into at the Speedi Mart at 320 Old Olympic Highway in Port Angeles, Washington. I will bet you have a local store that you buy from where you bump into your neighbors too. Here in Port Angeles ,though, you might bump into Twilight fans, vampires or Bella buying the same local fresh eggs that we serve for breakfast in our home.

By the way, can you believe that Jim Casey ,producer with Painless Productions, said he wasn't interested in producing my TV show, Beyond the Battlefield, because nobody wants to hear about war and then the Oscars went to
The HURT LOCKER!
Hello, Jim, want to change your mind about what Americans want to see on television?????

Thank you for the thank you and filming Showtime TV
Anne Portugal sent a message using the contact form at

I have been meaning to call you to Thank You for mentioning Speedi Mart in
your blog back in February. I called you just now and heard a message that
you would be away for some time. But even though I am tardy relaying my
respects, we want you to know that we very much enjoy your wit in writing
and appreciate your kindness to us. We hope all is going well for you and
your husband. Bless you.
Best always,
Anne & Jesse Portugal, Speedi Mart.
Dear Anne & Jesse Portugal,
It is so interesting to hear from you today. Bob and I just landed in Los Angeles at our hotel. I am filming for a small part in a reality TV show. The Showtime reality is, "The Real L Word." Have you ever seen "The L Word?"
It is a drama about what it is like to live as a lesbian. Showtime has decided to follow a true story of what that looks like. The lead in the show has been a client of mine for 5 years or so. I am looking forward to helping her, her family and her friends find their metaphysical balance.
In the meantime, anyone reading this must know that Clark's Farm grass fed beef that is is sold at Anne & Jesse Portual Speedi Mart tastes terrific!
It is good to be your neighbor,
Robin Alexis
The only Mystic 70 miles from Forks, WA. I do like grass fed beef but I am not likely to dine on human blood. You have to drive right by the Speedi Mart to see the vampires. Enjoy Twilight, New Moon, & Eclipse fans!
Local hormone free beef
The local beef for sale at the Speedi Mart is so good it tastes like a cloud.
