My Mother's Day gift is to be a Buddy to Buddy

Some of Us are Mothers to 4 Leggeds

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 12th. I have recently been around a mother of a 4 legged who is having a very, very hard time.

Imagine that you are at the Angeles Clinic for Animals in Port Angeles, Washington and you are sitting next to a woman who is about to pick up her dog who just the day before had its leg removed due to a hit and run accident. The vet tech is going over what you need to do to take proper care of your hit and run victim dog that now has 3 legs as of only a day ago. Imagine that all this happened and you have no money to pay the vet bill but you loved your dog too much to have him put down.

As I sat in the waiting area of the vet office listening to this I had to do something. I took the woman’s hand and I said;

“What is your dog’s name?”

She replied through her tears,

“Buddy. He was hit yesterday and the people who hit him just drove off! I can’t afford to keep him here so I have to take him with me.”

I responded;

"I will pray for him."

She burst out sobbing that someone would help her like that.

When Buddy was carried out of the hospital he was actually wagging his tail to see his Mommy. Where his leg had been was the aura of his leg before it was amputated. When the vet put him down he just sat looking confused. I knew then what I would do. When Buddy and his Mommy left I donated some money to help Buddy. What goes around comes around.

Does your heart call you to take action for Buddy? Do you want to be a buddy to Buddy? Perhaps for your unique Mother’s Day gift you could donate to help Buddy. Is your mother or was your mother an animal lover? Are you? My mother is going to love this present!

Are you bothered by the cruelty of other people to other people and animals? Do something about it.

If you heart beacons you to decide that being a buddy to Buddy is your calling and a way to gift your Mother for Mother's Day, PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL BOB! Bob is very sick and does not know anything about this. I set this “Be a Buddy to Buddy” fund directly with the Angeles Clinic for Animals. They know people may be calling or sending checks for Buddy.

What you can do is either call the Angeles Clinic for Animals at 360-452-7686 and tell them you want to donate to Buddy. Give them your donation through your credit card information. Your other option is to send them a check with the subject that says

“For Buddy”

Here is the address;

Angeles Clinic for Animals
160 Del Guzzi Drive
Port Angeles, WA 98362

I will be posting my mother's response to this gift. I welcome you to share how your mother responded if in fact that is someone you feel comfortable doing.

Namaste,

Robin Alexis

Hi Christie..

I wondered where you were. Missed you!

Namaste.

Robin's picture

Who knew there was politics in shoveling shit for horses?

I missed you too. Why do those people see you in such a different light than I see you? I would tell them;

"What you think of me is none of my business. I love the animals and so do you. Let that be enough to bond us in common service.."

One of the most emotional

One of the most emotional ghost whispering jobs I ever had was a few years ago. Do you remember the horror of Katrina? Remember when so many animals needed to be adopted after that event?

A woman who is a very prominent Beverly Hills lawyer came to me for a session about a year after Katrina. She didn't believe in "snake doctors" like me but she was so desperate to clear the pain in her left arm that she called me on the advice from another Beverly Hills lawyer. This woman had been in such chronic pain that she was feeling suicidal from a lack of sleep. The woman had been to many doctors, specialists and had been through thousands of dollars of mri's, cat scans and x-rays, physical therapist, massage, acupuncture and more. NOTHING had worked so out of extreme duress she finally came to see me with quite an attitude of the "why bother". As she came through my office door I asked her, "Did you adopt a dog from the Katrina Rescue?" She said, "Yes, I have been having problems with the dog. It is overly protective of me." As the woman sat down I began to cry and told her, "I can see an Afro-American mother who is clutching her child in one arm and is also clutching to something like roof waiting to be rescued. There is water all around her. That woman is holding on with all the grit she can muster. But as time passes she just can't hold on anymore and she and the child drown. This young mother and small child were the previous owner of your dog. What we need to do is help them cross over into the Light. What you are feeling in your arm is the pain this woman's arm felt as she clutched onto her child."

I began to make telepathic contact with the spirits of the mother and child. I helped them cross over. As they crossed over into the Light the crusty Beverly Hills Lawyer began to weep. As we passed the kleenex box back and forth to each other the pain in her arm finally subsided and then completely went away never to return. During the time I lived in Beverly Hills this woman was a regular client of mine. We both learned to appreciate the power of the love between pets and their owners. Clearly this dog was energetically carrying the souls of his previous owners in his auric field. The Beverly Hills woman was empathic to the energies of her adopted dog and therefore felt the pain of the troubled mother and child. Today the mother and child still wave to me from LIGHT. They thank me and they tell me to let people know about the sacred contract we have with our pets. As we are being made aware of in the news these days, earthquakes are becoming more common. So far, our global family has faired quite well inspite of their dramatic increase. But should the day come when we need our disaster kits, let's make sure our pets have what they need too. Please visit www.marthanorwalk.com and find the archived show on preparing a disaster kit for your pet.

Yes, this made me cry, too. Too much emotion going on with

me today. Am going to Cool down and watch the movie on Lincoln. A friend said it was really really good and that Sally Field was exceptional in her role. lol BEAM

The Prayer of Saint Francis

The Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow Love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, Light.
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to Love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen, Amen, Amen

Robin, The prayer of St.

Robin,
The prayer of St. Francis is very beautiful!

Thank you for sharing!
Much Love! Xoxoxo

Love and Peace xoxoxo :)

A new kitten!!?? That is so wonderful Robin!
What color and have you noticed a distinct personality?

Karen

Robin's picture

If you look at flickr you

If you look at flickr you will see pictures of her. She was abandoned on the steps of the Humane Society with 3 other cats. They were in a box with no air holes when they were found. Just Friday she had her spaying, yesterday she got adopted and today she is walking around the house getting oriented while Rumi is out in his cat kennel.

She purrs very loudly and a lot. She seems geniunely happy here. Now to get Rumi to think it is cool. Dr. Nels helped a lot today so there is some noticable difference in his behavior towards her but it is not by any means is he over with the adjustment period. We are employing all the Martha Norwalk Animal Behavior tool kit so we know eventually all will be well.

Rumi & Eagle & Kitten

OMG she is on the afghan!!! How cool is that!? She looks like she has a twinkle in her eye!

Have you tried T-Touch on Rumi? The Clouded Leopard. Reducing Stress. The weight of your hand rests lightly on the body, with fingers lightly curved. The pads of your fingers push the skin one and a quarter circle (clockwise). The middle finger leads. Feel the connection between your forefinger and thumb which are held several inches apart. Keep your wrist straight yet flexible and off the body. Breathing in rhythm with circles helps maintain a softness in your fingers, hand, arm and shoulder. Move the skin in a circle rather than rubbing over the hair.

Watch the animal's reaction. If he seems uncomfortable, lighten the pressure or change the Touch.

OHHHH Bobby just saw an eagle swooping through our space out here! Level with the windows! That is a FIRST!!! I sense it is an omen? My Eagle Totem connecting!?

And Gretchen she's limping again on right hind leg. First time in awhile. I will also do some T-Touch on her as well.

Greetings and Blessings

This is great about Kim and Kevin!
I can't believe that Jiggy is happy with his name. Jiggy is the stallion at the Equine Outreach that made such a powerful announcement of his return home. I want to ask Kim if that's what he calls himself. Then there is the goat, Spike. I like Spike. Friday he finally got into one of the golf carts I was using to haul manure in. He rode with me for a while then got bored when I was taking too long in one of the pens.
So, I'm back to my disbelief that someone would give a stallion the name Jiggy. They must have run out of ideas for names.
Blessings to you all! Have a wonderful Sunday.
Well, I'm off to do house chores before MarthaNorwalk.com comes on.
Namaste,
Christie
PS In case you missed my note, the stallion told Kim that he likes to be called Flash.
