Chaldean Numerology: It seems unbelievable but it works as a full-proof method for choosing the right partner---whether it is a personal or business relationship. Either way, mathematics and analysis will always play a big role in your decision-making process, consciously or unconsciously.
Let me explain. On a personal level, we all know how expensive it is to date and wine and dine someone. The process of getting to know the other person can take months or longer to determine whether or not the investment of time, energy, emotion and money will net you the end result of what you were hoping for. It was interesting to see the different methods each dating service used to approach the subject of compatibility and how each of them offered a unique service to test compatibilities and personalities---this test of character approach or benefit to the new member is what makes one site more successful over the other.
So how do you know an analytical program implemented by a service is accurate? Can you test the compatibility between someone of interest yourself or is it a one-sided deal? Who decides what stats should be included in the data search and who analyzes this information? Is there any feedback given through a personal reading/consultation to explain the data captured? There are many unanswered questions and I can tell you the average person would not know whether or not they are getting accurate information by which to make their decisions.
It's a good guess that the process used to arrive at developing personal information is some form of mathematics and analysis. Below is a list of dating services and what they offer their members in speeding up the process to finding ideal partner matches using some kind of a formula.
Match.com Match has a team of eight statisticians who employ mathematical formulas based on a member's activity on the site in order to "match" users. Rather than having to search again and again for compatible partners, Match proactively suggests compatible partners through their services.
eHarmony
Harmony is the first service within the online dating industry to use a scientific approach to matching highly compatible singles. eHarmony's matching is based on using its 29 DIMENSIONS® model to match couples based on features of compatibility found in thousands of successful relationships in addition to conducting extensive personality testing of members.
Plenty of Fish
This site offers individual psychological assessments by profiling using a set of personal questions developed for matching compatibilities and personalities. The theory behind this test is it will tell you what you really want versus what you say you want.
Chemistry.com
This is a site for dating serious relationships and even marriage. Their process begins upon completion of the chemistry personality test and profile, which is suppose to provide you with insight into yourself and your potential date. They are using the research of world-renowned biological anthropologist, Dr. Helen Fisher, to provide you with insights into your personalized matches.
Chemistry.com is a subsidiary of Match.com and was created a few years ago to compete with eHarmony's personality testing, but mostly in response to its own members searching matches based on more research, (quoted by Ginsberg in this article).

Promoting themselves as the nation's premier matchmaker, Elite Personal Search chooses to personally meet and pre-screen every member in addition to running background checks to assure your safety.
Although screening is a great idea, it does not eliminate the risk of deception if a person does not have a record but does have a criminal past.

There you have it. Each dating site has their own approach to making the dating process more attractive in providing ways that may or may not be helpful in finding your matches. We all know that there is more than one person suited for each of us; however, most everyone strives to meet their "soul" mate who's perceived to be either "Mr." or "Ms." Right.
You can see from each of the above sites the range of methods employed for collecting data, turning the collection into ways of understanding who you are and what type of partner you are seeking. I would be shocked if any of the sites I've just mentioned used Numerology other than for myself.
The term "Numerology" may not be as appealing to others like any of the above scientific programs implemented even though they follow similar principles. CASE STUDY
A woman was wanting desparately to be married and to be settled. For this exercise, we will call her Sally.
Sally's biggest concern was that she wanted to start a family and that due to her age, time was running out for her if she didn't find a partner soon.
She was analytical in her approach and wanted to generate compatibility charts on all five men she had determined to be potential
candidates.
It was an interesting assignment and we determined after doing a character analysis on all of them which two were her top choices based on the information gleaned from each man's chart and their compatibility.
